With the beginning of Women's Big Bash League, Cricket Australia engaged Evolve to train staff how to drive rapid engagement and participation in social media around women's cricket.

Not only did Evolve put together a practical approach to better social media management but they also went above and beyond our brief by providing a wider approach to engagement new women into the sport that we were looking for and as a result it was one of the most popular sessions of the conference.

THE BRIEF

  • Challenge: Run internal training workshops to staff at annual conference, where best practice social media marketing techniques were taught.
  • Strategy: Developed a presentation focused on Understanding Audiences; Channel Management; Better Content and Campaign Ideas. Various training techniques and case studies were utilised to provide staff the tools necessary to better understand and capture social media opportunities.
  • Result: Evolve attended Cricket Australia's National Yearly Conference to train staff around social media opportunities with the launch of Women's Big Bash Cricket. Groups of staff were taken through a comprehensive social media training program.
